A colorball cactus is a small ornamental cactus with a bright, ball-shaped top—often red, yellow, orange, or pink—grafted onto a green cactus base. It is popular as a houseplant because of its vivid colors and compact, decorative appearance. 🌵
A full-size colorball cactus (also called a moon cactus) is still fairly small. Most mature plants grow only about 4–8 inches tall, and rarely taller than 10–12 inches, because the colorful top stays about golf-ball size.
To care for a colorball cactus, place it in bright, indirect sunlight and water lightly only when the soil is completely dry. Use well-draining cactus soil and avoid overwatering, since too much moisture can cause the roots to rot.
